Infrared Asphalt Repair Technician

As an infrared asphalt repair technician you will work with a crew lead and you will repair asphalt defects around central Iowa. This is hard, hot, fast-paced, physically demanding work. There is no time for cell phones and day-dreaming. You will be moving heavy equipment and hot asphalt around, you will be leveling it and then compacting it. Successful candidates will have the option to become a team lead on a two person crew.
This position is both creative and rigorous by nature you need to think
outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a "get it done"
spirit. To be successful, you will have solid solving problem skills.
Responsibilities
- Confirm that the equipment is ready to go
- Deploy to the jobsite on time
- Confirm understanding of the repair
- Complete a quality repair
- Clean up and prepare of the next deploy
